The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon Jelili Sulaimon is set to empower five hundred youths who graced the Alimosho Youth Stakeholders meeting on Thursday 16th October at the council’s secretariat in Akowonjo area of Lagos State.
The meeting which was collectively agreed to be a routine, is an assembly of youth across the local government area, including all youth stakeholders.
Consequent upon the deliberations a resolution was made in two key areas: namely empowerment and employment. These were recommended and agreed upon as the pressing needs of Alimosho LGA youths.
In pursuant of the resolution, the council boss distributed all youths in attendance into the different areas of their interest for empowerment.
The areas include capacity building in computer programming and graphics designing, vocational training and post training tools empowerment as well as recruitment into military and para military organizations. .
