Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon Jelili Sulaimon has flagged off project commissioning on Wednesday 17th July 2024 with the official opening of Alhaji Musbaudeen Alani Olaleye Ultra modern market by Pako bus-stop, Akowonjo.



This commissioning was followed by the official opening of the constructed Azeez Ayorinde Street in Alimosho which is another very important project executed by the present administration in order to ease the long time suffering of the residents of the areas.


This commissioning is coming after a good number of projects has been executed by the administration for different purposes. 


While declaring the market open for use, the Alaye of Orisumbare land, Oba Akibu Adebowale made it clear that the council boss is beyond words an achiever who doesn't look back in the actualisation of any laudable goal.



Towing the same line, the Elegbeda of Egbeda land commended the Council Chairman for what his administration has been able to do within a short time and still believing in him that he will still do more before he leaves office.


Hon Sulaimon administration second term commenced in 2021, he has within this short period completed a 2-storey administrative building, furnished and equipped and it is open for use. He has also constructed strategic roads in the council which includes Odebummi Street at Miccom, Santos Layout, Banire Street, Adebanjo Street. These road facilities are complimented by constructed drainages, road markings and to be lit soon: other road projects numbering about five are presently under construction.



The Alimosho mayor has within the period built an ultra modern health centres at Akowonjo and Olorungbebe area (Ologufe) to complement those he did in his first term in office.


This is in addition to the uncountable office and learning support equipments for schools and pupils in the primary schools in the local government and the Millions of naira that has gone into monetary and materials palliatives.
