ABISCO'S GIANT STRIDES IN ROAD, DRAINAGE INFRASTRUCTURE IN MOSAN OKUNOLA LCDA

 

Hon Princess Olabisi Adebajo aka Abisco, the Executive Chairman Mosan Okunola LCDA Lagos State, has commenced the reconstruction and rehabilitation of dilapidated road and drainage infrastructure in the council.

Strategic and critical roads and drainages in the council are receiving required attention of the Abisco led administration. 

These roads and drainages were selected in partnership with Mosan Okunola LCDA legislative house, and other stakeholders in the council, such as the community development associations, CDAs, Community Development Committees, CDCs, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW to mention a few. 

Abisco is also partnering with Hon Ganiyu Adele Ayuba  (Mayor KK), member representing Alimosho federal constituency in the House of Representatives, to facilitate federal attention on infrastructure in Gowon and Shagari, the federal owned estates in the council.

Residents are delighted at this development, they have expressed their willingness to ensure that these infrastructure stood the test of time, they took up the advocacy at ensuring that road and drainage users do not abuse these public infrastructure thereby enhancing their durability.

Some of the road under reconstruction includes 31 Road, Gowon Estate, Powerline Street in Okunola, Baale Street in Abesan Estate and the construction of drainage and reconstruction of Council Road, Water bus stop.
