A former presidential aide and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Bashir Ahmad, has reacted, after it was reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, allegedly approved the sum of ₦500 million to the Secretary to the Government of Federation, SGF, for the inauguration of the 37-man Tripartite Committee on the New Minimum Wage.
While reacting Ahmad made it known that no matter how one looks at the issue, it is unacceptable for a confidential document bearing a presidential endorsement to be leaked to the public, for whatever reason.
Mr Bashir Ahmad made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle,while reacting to the report.
He wrote; "No matter how one looks at it, it is absolutely unacceptable for a confidential document bearing a presidential endorsement to be leaked to the public for whatever purpose."
It should be recalled that memo recently leaked, revealing that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu allegedly approved ₦500 million out of total ₦1 billion to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, for the inauguration of a 37-man Tripartite Committee on the new minimum wage.
