The relief stimulus, which comes in food packs, which was distributed to every Community Development Associations (CDA's) and registered Estates in the State is aimed at sustaining and reducing the effects of the fuel subsidy removal.

Speaking to the gentlemen of the Press, Kehinde Joseph said the relief materials will reduce the burden of the temporary economic downturn on the citizens caused by the fuel subsidy removal by the Federal Government.

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Account (State) said the food materials, will reach the most vulnerable communities and households across the Constituency, saying that the indigents who rely on daily wages will be given priority.

He said: "We are all aware that this is a trying time for our citizens and since the partial drop in economic activities, so, as the holder of their mandate, I deemed it necessary to reach out to the vulnerable ones in the society. These people are those that fall below the pyramid, the aged and the physically challenged who are seriously affected by this decision and effect. I felt that as their representative, the least I can do is to identify them and give them these relief packages immediately."

The grassroot lawmaker stated that the relief package will touch the vulnerable and indigent  households within the Constituency, saying the Executives of the CDA's and registered Estates, will do the sharing.

"This is a catalytic intention and decision with the hope of working on the existing database - using the Social Register of all the registered community development association and estates within the Constituency", he said.

The Head of the CDA's and Estates commend the Lawmaker, for his generous support and outstanding representation to the constituents and Constituency, since he resumed office.
