House of Assembly member representing Alimosho State Constituency 01 Hon Luqmon Orelope shouted down some members of All Progressives Congress, APC (mainly women) in his constituency, who have left his caucus, Alimosho Solidarity Movement, ASM, when a delegation from them went to him to solicit Christmas handout.

Hon Orelope was reported to have said "shen wine mi ni, e sun fun mi" which can be translated to "are you for real, get lost" which made the visibly angry delegation to end their meeting with him almost immediately.

In their response at a later time, the delegation said they are not surprised at all at Luqman Orelope's political insensitivity because he didn't get the position on the basis of capacity or ability or even hard-work and responsibility to the party. He got it on the basis of "my sister is in power".

They added, saying "Luqmon Orelope is a waste of support and will be dealt with at a time when there will be no one to save his ass because we are sure that his lazy ass didn't labour to get to the position. Rather, he was forced on the entire constituency in his sister's usual way of taking everything that belong to Alimosho to her family members, who she should have personally helped, but due to greediness she refused to. Therefore, it will be easier for Luqmon Orelope to misbehave despite all the sacrifices we made to put him in office."

ASM is in crisis the three lagacy groups that formed the coalition i.e Alimosho Veterans Group, Alimosho Liberation Movement and Alimosho Unity Frontiers are presently at loggerheads.

Leaders and members of Alimosho Unity Frontiers and Alimosho Liberation Movement are bitterly complaining that ASM apex leader HE Hon Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire grabbed the super political offices alloted to the coalition for only the members of her immediate family. And when she even decided to throw one to a member, she chose someone who is not a member of the constituency on the basis of kinship despite having so many hardworking and capable hands within the constituency.

Hon Adebisi Yusuf, Hon Olufemi Adebanjo, Hon Adunni Opeyemi Akindele and Alhaji Abiodun Ejigbadero led a good number of their few out of ASM to form Alimosho Mandate Frontiers, based on grab it all posture of HE Orelope Adefulire. 

Other ASM bigwigs such as Sunday Babatunde Aboyade (APC Vice Chairman Lagos West), Lateef Ibirogba (South West Organizing Secretary), Idris Balogun (Alimosho Liberation Movement Constituency 02 Leader), Abiodun Mafe (Alimosho Unity Frontiers Constituency 01 Leader) are appraising the situation and have opened talks with other caucuses in the constituency about their political future and that of their followers.

Desperate efforts by HE Orelope-Adefulire to shore up loyalty with two Senior Legislative Aides appointments, this is seen as tokenism and of no consequence, after she took the political princes position for her kinfolks.
