The constitution review committee of the House of Representatives headed by the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu has called for memorandum by Nigerian organizations, communities and individuals.
In a published communique the committee said
"This is to inform and to remind Nigerian communities, organizations and individuals within and around our respective federal jurisdictions nationwide, that the call for memoranda has been made by the House of Representatives, on the review of the 1999 Constitution being embarked upon."
The committee therefore urges, awakens and encourages the submission of review proposals for the intended amendments to the 1999 Constitution.
The deadline for the submission is 10th April 2024.
