Executive Chairman Mosan Okunola LCDA, Hon Princess Olabisi Adebajo, aka Abisco, has completed the construction of a new two story building, to enhance administrative services of the frontline council.
The building will provide offices for the Office of the Executive Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Local Government, Council Manager, Council Treasurer, Council Engineer as well as the Chairman's conference room.
Departments that will also be quartered in the building includes environment and health services, Abisco ICT centre, public affairs unit, ICT unit, agriculture and social services unit, admin / human resources unit and the ICT control room.
Supervisors for civic engagement, agriculture and social services, special duties, education and library services, information and communications technology, health, wealth creation, information, budget and planning, women and poverty alleviation as well as the special adviser on boundary adjustments also have offices in the new building.
The new secretariat building is complimented by a newly built car park space, that can hold a minimum of 50 cars at a time.
