Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has urged Nigerians to stop blaming President Tinubu for Nigeria's troubles.
He made this remark at the palace of the traditional ruler of Igboho town in Oyo State as seen in a video posted on the Facebook page of his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki.
Igboho who left Nigeria in 2021 after his residence in Ibadan came under attack had returned to the country for his mother's burial.
Some of his remarks during his visit to the monarch reads:
“They wanted to kill me during the administration of ex-president Muhammadu Buhari. Many are already thinking that President Tinubu is the reason for the hardship being experienced by Nigerians.
"When did he assume office? All these things have been happening before he entered office. He has barely spent six months or seven months.
"When I was agitating during the last regime, some said I am fighting for my own pocket. But God has blessed me, he gives me whatever I ask for.”
Sunday Igboho also urged his fellow tribesmen to unite and fight against the enemies of the land preventing his people from going to farm
