The State Chairman of The Mandate Movement, a formidable group under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo, arrived in Mushin on Saturday to attend the general meeting between Mushin Local Government and Odi-Olowo LCDA.
Addressing members who gathered despite the scorching sun, Enilolobo praised their dedication and commitment to the group. He reaffirmed the importance of Mushin and Odi-Olowo to his administration, highlighting their unwavering support for The Mandate Movement since its inception.
In his statement, Enilolobo declared that those present at the meeting were the true members of The Mandate Movement, dismissing any other factions or individuals claiming to represent the group as ‘Mana Mana’, a term implying they are not genuine members.
The APC chieftain also took time to commend key political leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat, Chairman of GAC Prince Tajudeen Olusi, and the Senate member representing Lagos West district, Senator Idiat Adebule.
He also acknowledged members of the House of Representatives and State Assembly representing Mushin. Additionally, he recognized Odi-Olowo LCDA Chairman Hon. Rasak Ajala. He also paid tribute to the late Alhaja Tawakalitu Oyewale.
Furthermore, he acknowledged Prince Adewale Arogundade, Hon. Yinka Falade, Hon. Tola Adebiyi, and the two Mandate Movement Chairmen, Hon. Akeem Alani Kushimo and Alhaji Moshood Lawal for Mushin and Odi-Olowo for their dedication to the group's cause.
Enilolobo extended his appreciation to the youths, women, and leaders across various wards for their steadfast support. He assured them that all aspirants supported by The Mandate Movement would achieve their political aspirations and urged them to adhere to the party’s guidelines and directives.
