Emergency leads and followers of "Baba Etan Mandate" a movement led by Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku aka Baba Etan, in the quest to achieve their mandate of usurpation through deciets, have centred their activities on lies and falsehoods, and in the bid to attain a position they did not labour for in a caucus they refused to identified with, at the most critical hour, when the loyalty was most tested.
The Alimosho federal constituency wing of the "Baba Etan Mandate" rightly dubbed "The Mugun Mandate" by Alimosho Solidarity Movement, ASM; the political partners they stabbed in the back, in the failed political marriage that lasted only six months, are in overdrive to justify their alliance with a political wizard, known for debauchery.
The Mandate Movement led by Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo stood firm with tenets of the caucus, just as the leads of The Justice Forum stood firm with the tenets of their caucus. The Enilolobo led movement campaigned with the BATCO Mandate ICG outfif in the 2023 general elections cycle, instituting a national campaign movement supervised by the Lagos State chapter, when "Baba Etan" was busy with serial political outfits, displaying political motions that resulted in no political movement at the end.
He lost his Ikeja federal constituency in the presidential election and lost the state also as the chair of the Tinubu Shettima Sanwo-Olu Hamzart Independent Campaign Council.
During the 2023 campaign period "The Baba Etan Mandate” did not exist, and the now leads and members openly and consistently described The Mandate Movement, TMM, and her ICG outfit BATCO Mandate as dead political organizations, describing the faithfuls of the outfits as political fools with no political heritage, the Egyptians in Egypt they were labeled.
"Baba Etan Mandate" have no political campaign project attributable to her in the 2023 general elections campaign. The Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo led Mandate Movement via BATCO Mandate ICG have mega campaign projects to show case.
It was rude shocks to 'The Baba Etan Mandate" when BATCO Mandate ICG staged the best road show campaign in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and HE Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu in Lagos State as well as in many other states and the FCT.
The best door to door campaign in Lagos State and many other states, the best campaign poster deployments in Lagos State and many other states were attributed to The Mandate Movement via BATCO Mandate ICG, .
"Baba Etan Mandate" faithfuls were perplexed that despite the non patronage by state and national offices and officers: the movement managed to demonstrate the political qualities in them and in a spectacular fashions.
Post 2023 elections claiming they lost out politically in ASM, Hon Bisi Yusuf, Hon Adefemi Adebanjo, Abiodun Ejigbadero, Hon Abiodun Francis led by Hon Adunni Akindele approached "Baba Etan" to provide them a political lifeline, because they found it difficult and were ashamed to return to the Alimosho APC G-18 leadership body and by extension The Mandate Movement family in Alimosho federal constituency, given the political evils they perpetrated against the body that built each one of them politically. This is the definition of political prostitution.
"Baba Etan" the Cardinal of lies and greed: instead of acting as a political elder, either by reconciling them with the ASM leader HE Hon Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire his co Lagos APC Governor's Advisory Council mate or with Enilolobo, he recruited them into a move to create a new political force in Lagos APC family and Alimosho APC in particular.
He described HE Orelope Adefulire as a "Baby GAC Member" and her ASM as the Association of Social Morons. He refused to acknowledge the roles played by Enilolobo and other state actors of The Mandate Movement, who kept the flag of the caucus flying, when he foraged into his short lived Indomitable Solidarity Organization, ITSO.
Cardinal Odunmbaku having served for close to two decades as Lagos State Chair of The Mandate Movement, left the position for the late Alhaji Abiodun Badmus, who having served for three years, handed over to Enilolobo.
What the octogenarian forgot in The Mandate Movement Secretariat is what remains unknown: as the age of bribe for public office is over.
