“I'M READY TO LEAD COALITION AGAINST TINUBU, APC IN 2027"—ATIKU DECLARES


The presidential candidate for the People's Democratic Party, PDP in the February 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar GCON, has during his congratulatory speech for the PDP governors whose mandates were reinstate by the Supreme Court as the duly elected governors by the majority of votes cast.

Atiku who says that their victory at the apex court is the true reflection of democracy and the will of the majority. The former Vice President was quoted as saying “I’m ready to lead a coalition against Tinubu, APC in 2027.”

Recall that the PDP retained four governors following the Supreme Court’s affirmation of the victories of governors in Bauchi, Plateau, Akwa Ibom and Zamfara states, these states are PDP strongholds.

He also extended a word of congratulations to Abba Kabiru Yusuf of Kano State for his victory, too. Kano is a stronghold of NNPP.

Meanwhile, the former vice president maintained that his 2027 presidential ambition is revertalised, and he is ready to form alliance with opposition parties to make sure he is elected as president in 2027.

There was a rumour that Peter Obi of Labour Party; Musa Kwankwaso of NNPP, and PDP is currently undergoing or engaging in merger talk ahead of 2027.

However, the LP has severally denied any plan for a merger with any opposition. But Nigerians have repeatedly made the opposition parties understand that it is politically impossible to dismantle APC with the current political formation in the country.

In view of this, Atiku has vowed form alliance with strong opposition to ensure his political ambition is executed in 2027.
