AMISDT RIVERS POWER CRISIS GOV FUBARA GREETS WIKE ON 56TH BIRTHDAY

The unwavering humility of Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, shone brightly as he conveyed sincere congratulations to Barrister Nyesom Wike on the celebration of his 56th birthday on December 13, 2023.

Governor Fubara, in a heartfelt message, referred to Wike as “my Oga,” a testament to the enduring respect and loyalty he has consistently displayed, even amidst recent political challenges. This remarkable demonstration of humility underscores Governor Fubara’s commitment to maintaining a sense of unity and respect, irrespective of the political climate.

As observers, we applaud the silent yet impactful achievements of Governor Fubara, who continues to lead with grace and dignity. The governor’s ability to extend warm wishes to someone involved in political disagreements reflects statesmanship and a focus on the greater good.

On this special occasion, we extend our congratulations to “MY OGA”  Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike. It is our hope that, in commemorating his birthday, he takes a moment to reflect on the challenges facing our beloved Rivers State. RIVERS STATE UPDATE

Sequel to the failed attempt to impeach Governor Sim Fubara by members of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Barr Nyesom Wike CON 

The followings has ensued 

1. The Abdullahi Ganduje led APC National Working Committee  dissolved Rivers State APC State Executive and set up a caretaker committee with HM Nyesom Wike nominating all the members.

2. Few days later, the Rivers State PDP Chairman resigned and took up an appointment with the APC led FGN. One out of the many Rivers State PDP members to get appointed.

3. Just few days after HM Wike was seen dancing Akwaba in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President, 27 out of 32 lawmakers loyal to him defect to APC in a dramatic twist.

4. The PDP National Working Committee has handed over the State Executive Committee to Governor Sim Fubara 

5. The PDP has called on INEC to declare the seats of 27 Rivers State House of Assembly members who defected to the APC vacant according to section 109 subsection 1G of the Nigerian constitution. 

6. The 5 lawmakers loyal to Governor Sim Fubara said the 27 lawmakers who defected to the APC were prior under suspension: and received the 2024 appropriation bill from the Governor for legislative scrutiny. 

7. Sim Fubara FCA is my nephew. I will rather die than let him take Rivers State from me - HM Wike

8. Nyesom Wike is my uncle. Rivers State belongs to her people - HE Fubara 

9. The Presidency is with me to hold unto Rivers State - HM Wike 

10. The Peoples of Rivers State are with me as the current Constituted Authority - HE Fubara 

11. Federal High Court confirms Edison Ehie as the authentic Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, restrains Nyesom Wike's ally, Martin Amaewhule from acting as Speaker. Edison is an ally of Governor Sim Fubara and also has 4 assembly members to his camp.

12. "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR should not meddle in Rivers State affairs. Any effort to destabilize the State will lead men back to the creeks and Mr President cannot afford stoppage oil production in the region" - Ijaw Youth Congress. Governor Sim Fubara FCA of the Ijaw ethnic stock.

13. Rivers State House of Assembly is under demolition for reconstruction.
