BABA BADEJO CRY OUT AS ADUNNI AKINDELE TAKES HIM ON OVER MOSAN OKUNOLA 2025 CHAIRMANSHIP

... President Tinubu did not ask anyone to form Alimosho Mandate Frontiers in Alimosho federal constituency - Baba Badejo 

Hon. Chief Abel Olusegun Badejo pioneer Chairman of Mosan Okunola LCDA Lagos State, has cried out over attacks on his leadership and person by agents of Mosan Okunola APC Chairman Hon Adunni Opeyemi Akindele. 

In a public communique personally authored by the octogenarian retired accountant, which he tagged Stop The Blackmail. Hon Chief Badejo decried what he termed "slot of rumours and mud slinging" spreading like a wild fire within Mosan Okunola LCDA and it's environment against him. 

In his words "I am compelled to correct the situation. Some Alimosho Solidarity Movement ASM members who are nursing ambitions to contest for positions in the forth coming local council elections believed that they cannot achieve their goals without rubbishing their leaders." 

Waxing philosophical he adds "If you bury your senior brother naked in the presence of his son, you have shown his son how you will be buried. 

"Information making the rounds shows some leaders in Alimosho using our President's (Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR) name to mislead some of our members.

"They were claiming that President Tinubu GCFR called them to form The Mandate Frontiers in Alimosho federal constituency after the elections. For what to happen. This is a white lie. During the election campaign period it was these same persons that said all the groups must be compressed together. It is the President's wish to see Alimosho becoming one as in the past. There is no iota of truth in the statement. 

"Assuming it is true why has the name changed from Alimosho Patriots, to Alimosho Frontiers and finally to Alimosho Mandate Frontier within one month of its creation" the embattled leader asked 

"I am appealing to the loyal and serious minded members of ASM to remain in ASM. Do not allow any leader(s) to use bread to draw your soup."

Outlining the barrage of lies against him "We held a meeting with  Gowon Ward Executive members on Wednesday 01/11/23, there the spokeperson to our APC Party Chairperson (Hon Adunni Akindele) Mr John Adejoro alleged that he brought to my compound 1000 bags of rice, 1000bags of beans, 1000 bags of gari and ₦500,000 cash palliative which he handed over to me personally from the chairperson. 

"This is insultive and embarrassing to my personality as nothing like that happened. This rumour has been spreading round the LCDA. 

"Is this the way one takes over from ones leader ? I am seizing this opportunity to assure all ASM members that we are stronger together and we have implicit confidence in our overall apex leader in Alimosho Federal constituency in person of Her Excellency Princess Adejoke Victoria Orelope Adefulire OFR, GAC and SSA to the President." the embattled one term Chairman concludes.

Effort to get Adunni Akindele's (aide of Lagos State Speaker Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa) personal reaction proved abortive, but her aides offered privately that it is not a do or die issue to remain in ASM family with the likes of Baba Abel Badejo and there is the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of movement and association.
