Following the widespread news alleging a cost of N17 billion spent on Lagos State House of Assembly perimeter gate infrastructure, Nigeria's foremost online medium Sahara Reporters carried out an investigation and consequently unfolded some companies used by Rt Hon Mudashiru Obasa the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly to corner contracts of the House.
First on the list is *DE-KINGRUN MULTIPURPOSE NIGERIA LIMITED* with the registration number *RC 748741* , registered on 21st May 2008 and which has her head office at 27, African Church street, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos.
DE-KINGRUN which can easily be translated to "Mudashiru Obasa" as the name implies has the following Directors -
1. Obasa Suleimon
2. Obasa Busayo Janet
3. Obasa AbdulGaniyu
4. Obasa Hamzat
5. Obasa AbdulRahaman and;
6. Wale Adeogun
The list affirmed the absolute ownership of Rt. Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, having put his sons and daughters as the Directors. As at the time of registering this company, the children, who were made Directors were minors.
Further investigation also showed that the company was affiliated to another company registered in the State of Georgia, USA. The company in Georgia was terminated in September 2020 during the EFCC investigation after Sahara Reporter released a report titled "Speaker of Lagos Assembly, Obasa, Awards Contracts to Self Through Company Registered in son's name".
According to Sahara Reporter, DE-KINGRUN MULTIPURPOSE NIGERIA LIMITED is used to secure and implement contracts from the parliament and ministries. And Obasa is the sole beneficiary and Sole signatory to the accounts owned by the company.
De Kingrun was again registered by another associate of Rt. Hon Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa by the name *Adegoriola Oyenusi* in 2021 in the State of Georgia and still operating till date.
*While President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing everything in his capacity to fight corruption and give the common man a better life, Obasa, an acclaimed loyalist of Mr President is working very hard to counter and destroy the efforts of President Tinubu through his multiple corrupt practices, siphoning all finances entering the Assembly and personalizing the Lagos resources for himself and his children thereby preventing the spread of the gains of democracy to both stakeholders and the common man.*
