"WE ARE 'RENEWED HOPE' AMBASSADORS" - MOSAN OKUNOLA MANDATE MOVEMENT DECLARES




The leadership, officers and members of The Mandate Movement in All Progressives Congress, APC Mosan Okunola LCDA Lagos State, have affirmed as Ambassadors of the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR administration.



In a general meeting which held on Thursday 22 February, the majority caucus in the APC family in the LCDA, collectively agreed that the time to stand as agents and ambassadors of President Tinubu's administration is now, in the light of the economic challenges the country is facing, knowing fully well that President Tinubu is on the right path toward building the foundations for a prosperous Nigeria that works for all.



The Chairman of the movement chapter in Mosan Okunola LCDA, Alhaja Risikat Fagbamigbe aka Mandate 1 said members of the movement understood that without pains, there will be no gains, without sowings there will be no reapings, and the movement founded by Mr President understood that the current national travails is temporary, this phase will pass and golden era beckons most shortly. "We are Renewed Hope Agenda Ambassadors we must act accordingly, we must spread the message of hope that is bankable with the right fundamentals Mr President is putting in place." Fagbamigbe submitted. 



In her message to the members of the movement and Mosan Okunola LCDA constituents in general, a leader of the movement and the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon Princess Olabisi Adebajo aka Abisco, said the Council has keyed into Lagos Palliative Agendas that was unveiled by the Lagos State Governor, HE Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu earlier in the day. She stated that relief packages will be a continuous exercise to ameliorate the challenges being faced by all. 



Abisco enjoined constituents to live according to the times, assuring them that soon, this phase will pass, as President Tinubu is working to bring about lasting solutions. Hon Adebajo adds that protests is not the way, but constructive engagements, she assured that the ongoing road construction and reconstruction in the council will be spread evenly. 




Notable leaders and officers of the movement in attendance includes Alhaji Yisa Yusuf Ajiboye, (YY), Alhaji Waidi Adelumate Orire, Mrs Rebecca Onasanya, Pa Adekola Adegoke, Engr Balaja, Hon Folarin Jinadu, Hon Barr Rotimi Ogunwuyi, Hon Odutayo, Mr Gani Olanrewaju, Hon Adelakun, Mr Femi Olasehinde, Akeweje Tajudeen Akeweje Tadeyo Shotayo, Hon Rasheed Ladoja to mention a few.



Mosan Okunola LCDA Vice Chairman Hon Dayo Oshinowo aka Papa D, the Secretary to Local Government Hon Ayo Orimolade, the Leader Mosan Okunola Legislative House Hon Olasunkanmi Adefioye led the executive and legislative arms to the meeting.



The commencement of cash relief packages distribution started at the event, 2000 individuals, drawn from different stakeholder groups in the Council, such as the aged, market women, physically challenged, youths, artisans, religious groups, Community Development Associations, (CDAs) and Community Development Councils (CDCs) will be benefiting.
