FUBARA HAILS SANUSI’S REINSTATEMENT AS 14TH KANO EMIR

 



Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has congratulated His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II on his reinstatement as the 14th Emir of Kano.


Fubara expressed his joy upon learning of the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) reinstatement.


He claimed it happened while Khalifa Sanusi II was visiting the state to give his administration's initiative to change the State's economic course more momentum.


The governor claimed that Sanusi's reinstatement by the Kano State Government demonstrated that his overthrow on March 9, 2020, went against the goals and desires of the great people of Kano.


in a statement signed by Nelson Chukwudi, his chief press secretary.


He applauded the Kano State Government for hearing the people's desires and taking action to right historical wrongs.


The governor implored the populace to offer the Sarki of the old city of Kano every assistance possible in order for him to prosper.


Additionally, he asked Emir Muhammad Sanusi II, the spiritual head of Nigeria's Tijanniyah Sufi order, to guide the group's more than 50 million followers with compassion, discernment, and bravery while establishing enduring peace, justice, equity, and fairness for everyone in the city of Kano.


He wished the people of the State progress and happiness under the 14th Emir of Kano's happy and flourishing reign.
